misses and such

misses and mistakes
longing for time to rewind
unfortunate incidents
make me miss those times

on going times
the scent of misses lingers
each time I say goodbye
feelings of bitter blue

but hopes across the horizon
whispers in my ear
relinquish the heavy heart
and move on ahead

sunrise with you is never grey
memories will stay
closely as one
but misses will still be in my head
